The Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider was in commanding form in qualifying for the 125cc Grand Prix of Japan as he took his ninth pole position of the season, ahead of title rival Nico Terol. Pol Espargaró qualified in seventh after experiencing technical issues. Source: MotoGP
