Casey Stoner will start tomorrow's Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix from pole position after setting a stunning lap of 1'38.850, 1.2 seconds faster than the current circuit record set by Jorge Lorenzo and over half a second ahead of local hero Ben Spies in second position.
