27-year-old Vittorio Iannuzzo is actually one of the most experienced riders on the World Superbike scene. He made his debut in Supersport in 1997 and in 2002, after four years on a 600, moved up to Superstock 1000 on a Suzuki, winning the title with four victories and one second place.


The rider from Avellino in the south of Italy then spent three seasons in Superbike, Supersport and Superstock 1000 again, before switching full-time to the top category: his best overall result in Superbike is a seventh place in 2003 on a Suzuki at Misano.


This year Iannuzzo is aiming to return to the sort of form he showed in 2003, but this time on a Squadra Corse Italia Honda CBR1000RR. "At my home circuits I reckon I can get into the top 10, or even higher" declared Vittorio, who is a keen fan of go-kart, football, basketball and Supermotard. "I am sure that the great feeling I've established with my technicians and mechanics after a year together and with the support of my fans, we can get some good results this year".
