Broc Parkes and David Salom with their Motocard.com Kawasakis dominated the first session of WSS testing in relatively damp conditions at Phillip Island today. The Aussie and his Spanish team-mate were followed by five Honda CBR machines, the best of which was that of Britain's Sam Lowes (Parkalgar). Fabien Foret (Hannspree Ten Kate), who only completed three laps, and James Ellison (Bogdanka PTR) and his Polish team-mate Pawel Szkopek were next up.
Other riders who hardly ventured out in the morning session included Luca Scassa (Yamaha ParkinGO), who was eighth quickest, while Chaz Davies was tenth and Gino Rea (Step Racing Honda) twelfth.
