Like Checa in Superbike, Fabien Foret (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda) also dominated the morning Supersport session, the Frenchman lowering his time from yesterday and getting very close to the circuit best lap held by Lascorz. Behind Foret can be found the two Kawasaki Motocard.com machines of David Salom and Broc Parkes, while Florian Marino moved up to fourth place on the other Ten Kate Honda.
Robbin Harms was next up ahead of the rapidly-improving Roberto Tamburini (Yamaha Bike Service) in sixth, with three British riders, Gino Rea (Step Racing Honda), Sam Lowes (Parkalgar Honda) and Chaz Davies (Yamaha ParkinGO) right behind.


James Ellison (Bogdanka PTR Honda) returned to the track after bruising his left knee in yesterday's tumble but this morning was down in twelfth.
