The official BMW Motorrad Motorsport team has tested there recently and that experience should mean Haslam may well find his machine better matched to the circuit layout this time round.Said Leon in America, "We tested in Misano and it was pretty good, quite consistent, so we have a set-up for that track and we are pretty confident going back there that it should work the same. On that track, in different conditions, it won't be like it was at Miller. We have a pretty good development plan we have been doing with the chassis. In the Misano tests we were only a tenth or two off the pace of Checa, and at Miller we were a second, a second and a half, so Misano can be a lot better for us." Misano has been a relatively happy hunting ground for the official BMW squad in the recent past, with Troy Corser setting pole and then taking a podium of third at the San Marino round last year.
