Pole position for the European Superstock 600 race, which gets under way today later this afternoon, has gone to the young American Joshua Day (Revolution Racedays Kawasaki), who also set a new track record for the category.
Behind the 21-year-old from Orlando can be found Australian Jed Metcher (MTM-RT Motorsports Team), Michael van der Mark (Ten Kate Junior Honda) from the Netherlands and Frenchman Romain Lanusse (MRS Yamaha Racing France), the top four all winners this year.


Denmark's Alex Schacht (Schacht Racing Honda) was next up followed by a group of Italians headed by Christian Gamarino (Goeleven Kawasaki) and Francesco Cocco (Martini Corse Yamaha).
