Italians riders locked out the provisional front row grid positions in European Superstock Q1 at Imola.
Overnight pole will go to Misano winner Giuliano Gregorini (RCGM Yamaha) with a time of 1 minute 56.394 seconds, three-tenths ahead of Dino Lombardi (Martini Corse Yamaha), Nicola Morrentino (Elle2 Ciatti Yamaha) and Riccardo Russo (Trasimeno Yamaha).


The first non-home rider is points leader Australian Jed Metcher (MTM-RT Motorsports Team) in fifth with his closest championship rival Romain Lanusse (MRS Yamaha) right behind.
