Infront Motor Sports, together with the Autodromo do Algarve circuit, organized an exceptional media event as part of the build-up for the Portuguese Round that brings an end to the 2011 season. A group of riders representing the manufacturers and teams taking part in this year's championship, met up at Zoomarine near Lagoa Azul, not far from the circuit, to enjoy ‘close encounters' with the dolphins at the marine world facility.
WSB champion Carlos Checa, Marco Melandri, Max Biaggi, Michel Fabrizio, Troy Corser, Joan Lascorz, Jonathan Rea, as well as Chaz Davies, Parkalgar Honda men Sam Lowes and Miguel Praia and SBK General Manager Paolo Ciabatti, took to the water to get close up with the dolphins and do some playful exercises with them.


It goes without saying that the riders, spectators and media fully enjoyed the experience, and maybe even the dolphins did so as well....
