"The crowd reaction has been not too bad, doing autograph signings and all that. It is nice actually. I haven't really done anything different from my normal routine since Portimao, just training and doing all the same stuff as usual. It has been weird really, because I have not had time to stop and reflect on things." Crutchlow's status as champion has meant a few more off-season commitments than normal, but he gets back to his main task very shortly, during a test at Valencia next week. "I have done a bit of promotions work for Yamaha, little bits here and there, and now James and I are at the NEC Show. Next week we go testing in Valencia." Having a British team-mate in the garage is a happy turn of fate for Crutchlow in what will be his rookie full WSB season. "James and I get on well, and it's nice to have a British team mate," said Cal. "The last British team mate I had was Leon Haslam and we got on really good, so hopefully it will be the same with James. It's all working well; it's nice." Source: World Superbike
